Hadith's from Imam Hosain (as); #37: How did Azaan come about?

In the presence of Imam Hosain (as) about how Azaan was founded. Some falsely said that it came from a dream that Abdullah Ibn Zaid saw. Imam, with finality, rejected this rumor and spoke:

اَلْوَحْىُ يَنْزِلُ عَلى نَبِيِّكُمْ ,وَ تَزْعَمُوْنَ اَنَّهُ اَخَذَ اَلْاَذانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ,بَلْ سَمِعْتُ اَبى عَلى بنَ اَبى طَالِبْ س2 ,يَقُول
اَهبط الله عزّ وجلّ ملكَاً حين عرج برسول الله صلّى عليه و آله, فاذّان مثنىالصّلاة

Revelation is only sent down to your Prophet (s), and you thought saying azaan came from Abdullah Ibn Ziyaad. No; never! I heard from my father Ali ibn Talib say: On the night of Miraaj, when the Messenger of God (s) flew, Allah sent an angel in order to recite Azaan, Iqaamat, and other things his presence. He repeated everything twice and then said: Oh Mohammad (s); this is how azaan is for prayers.1
