Hadith's from Imam Hosain (as); #3; Spiritual Respect and Personal Cleanliness

Imam Hosain's (as) guidance in personal hygiene was valuable. In the past there weren't any of these modern houses with splendid bathrooms and now a days in lives of many villagers, wandering nomadic tribes, the military (with maneuvers one after the other, forced to live in the desert and mountains) his advice is still valuable today.

Imam Hosain (as) said:

"Do not sit with your back or front towards the Qibleh (in other words the direction Muslims pray in) while in the bathroom; and also don't sit with your back or front towards the wind."

The first part of Imam Hosain's (as) advice is out respect for the Qibleh of Muslims and the second is to stay clean from becoming dirty.
