Hadith's from Imam Hosain (as); #4 Freeing Prisoners

Its true if a Muslim becomes a prisoner it is obligatory upon all Muslims to free him. However, the people, the government, the country, and the area where the war is taking place will have a direct responsibility in freeing prisoners. There has to be more effort in this.
Imam Hosain (as) stated:

فَكاكُ الْاَسِيْرُالْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى اَهْلِ الْاَرْضِ اَلَّتِي قَاتَلَ عَلَيْها1

"Freeing a prisoner is obligatory for those who have had someone fight for their interests."
