Hadith #24; Collections of Clear Existence. A Dictionary of Conversations by Imam Hosain (as); Ali Asghar (as) and a time before Ashoora.

Imam Hosain (as), "Oh, my companions; tomorrow I will be killed and you will be killed with me. There won't a person left from among you." With a unified and joyful voice his companions said, "Praise be to Allah, Who's generosity enabled us to help you and through being killed with you gave us nobility in your path; won't you allow us to accompany you (at your spiritual level)?" May God give you a good reward," said Imam Hosain (as).

At that moment Qasim ibn Hasan (as) said, "My dear uncle, will I also be killed?" Imam addressed him, "How do you see death in Allah's path?" He answered, "Sweeter than honey." Imam responded, "Yes, nephew,* may I be sacrificed for you. Ali Asghar will become shaheed when thirst will take over us. I will go to the tents and in order to relieve the child's thirst look for milk and water but I won't find any. I will tell the women give me my child till I can quench his thirst. They put the child in my hands when a corrupt man shoots him in the throat in such a way that his throat is torn and he is drowning in his own blood; his blood was flowing in the palms of my hands and I scatter it to the sky while saying, "God give me sabr (beautiful perseverance); I also give this shaheed (martyr) in Your path. Then the arrows and the spears come towards me while there is an inflaming moat of fire surrounding the tents. Several times I admonished the enemies but it was useless. What Allah ever wills is what happens."

Then he and his companions cried for a moment; the sound of crying became louder. When it diminished, Zaheer ibn Qain and Habeeb ibn Mozaahir ask, "What will be Hazrat Sajjad's (as) condition and situation?" Imam Hosain (as) said, "God will never destroy our progeny from the world. How can my son, Ali be killed when he is the father of eight infallible Imams."

* the translation is dear uncle. As a term of love and endearment in Muslim cultures, elders often address younger children they are related to using their own tittle. In general there is no such tradition among western cultures it's simply been translated as nephew.
