Hadiths from Imam Hosain (as): #8 Relieving Halaal Ibn Naafe'

On the day of Ahshoora, when they were going to fight, the young wife of Halaal Ibn Naafe' grabs his clothing and says: "After you go; where am I supposed to go? And who am I supposed to lean on? Then she started crying. When Imam Hosain (as) found out, with the free spirit he has, he called out:
يا نافِعُ , اِنَّ اَهْلَكَ لا يَطِيْبُ لَها فِراقُكَ ,فلَوْرَاَيْتَ اَنْ تَخْتارَ سُرورَها عَلَى الْبَرازِ1
"Oh son of Naafe'! Indeed if your wife, doesn't like to be separated from you. Your free so that you can prefer her happiness over fighting with swords.
Halaal ibne Naafe in response said:
"Oh the son of the Prophet (s), if I don't help you today what answer can I give the Prophet (s) on the day of Judgement?"
Then he went to the battle field and became Shaheed.
Imam's (as) relieves his companions in Zobaaleh's house:
It is a victorious and lasting revolution, where those who revolt, have a goal of value and one of reaching human perfection. One which they have chosen themselves. One which they approach with freedom and knowledge.
With respect to this... Imam (as) in Mecca, on the way to Karbala, and everywhere it was necessary, would inform his companions and gave them the freedom to continue or to stop.
